It’s been a while and we are grateful for all of you who kept on supporting us this year whilst we are trying to get all our unfinished videos over the line. And there are MANY!
James, Leo and myself have been extremly busy with our respective business activities and are missing our regular Masterlink Sessions in a big way. Good news – there are many in stock which just haven’t hit our ‘workbench’ yet.
However, here a BRANDNEW Masterlink Sessions video with a twist for you. It will officially release tomorrow – both the full-length video and as a stand alone audio track on all major digital services like Spotify, Tital, Apple Music, Amazon Music et al.

This is our fifth Masterlink Sessions video with the wonderful and exciting singer-songwriter Georgia Van Etten and the Funkestra. We picked the Fairground Attraction mega hit ‘Perfect’ – a fun an charming pop song reimagined by the stellar team.
This Masterlink Sessions video has a fun twist – Georgia starts singing the song whilst walking down the drive and joining the band in the studio – all 100% live. Have a close look and see if you can find out where we ‘hid’ the microphone on Georgia. One could easily be fooled in thinking that this video isn’t live yet James and Leo were working in overdrive to make this happen – from a video and audio point of view certainly not an easy taks at all and they came up trumps!
Fun (or not so) fact – we were all relived that it wasn’t raining on the day of the recording. Hower, it was freezing cold – outside the studio (watch Georgia’s ‘red’ hands from the cold and inside the studio. Why inside the studio I hear you ask – well if you walk with a very cold camera lense from the cold into a warm space it would fog over (just like glasses) so we needed to have the temperature more or less than outside. Gosh! It was freezing cold. We have no idea how Georgia managed to pull this performance off – amazing on all levels. Not that we didn’t another proof – but we all love Georgia! She is a total trooper and what a singer and artist!
