Rosie Frater-Taylor teams up with Redtenbacher’s Funkestra for a Masterlink Sessions day. Rosie is re-imagining PJ Harvey’s ‘Man-Size’ and presents her arrangement of ‘Get In Line’, her original composition first released on her album ‘Featherweight’.

The Backstory
“Years ago the Funkestra performed at the Jazz Club of Rosie’s parents. They introduced me to a then young teenager who played guitar and wrote songs. Forward the years and I was invited to a house concert with her trio. The now grown up Rosie completely blew me away with her artistry, singing, songwriting and guitar playing. Musically mature and not fitting into any genre box. We had to invite her to do a Masterlink Session to collaborate with us. Absolutely pleased how it turned out!” (Stefan Redtenbacher, July 2024)

“I’ve been dying to release a PJ Harvey cover ever since I fell under the spell of ‘Man-Size’ last summer ✊🏻 incredible album w supremely powerful messaging & visuals ! Im so pleased that a veryyy special rendition of this track is dropping at midnight tonight (!) in collaboration with long-time friends and funky dudes from the Funkestra. 🎷🎺
